Adults with Disabilities Program

The Adults with Disabilities (AWD) program offers life skills instruction for developmentally disabled adults. We teach skills that enable individuals to function independently and socially in our community. Our approach affirms the dignity of students and their right to independence, self-esteem, and respect.

We are dedicated to helping students develop to their greatest potential, meet individual goals, and become as independent as possible all within a structure, fun and friendly environment.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 22 years of age and a Regional Center client
  • Able to participate independently with an 8:1 client to staff ratio
  • Motivated to attend the program with consistent attendance
  • Able to understand and follow safety guidelines and school rules.
  • No aggressive behavior towards self or others
